Secured Construction
Constructed using PC Shell and Under Wrap with EPS Foam, the Kali Protectives Interceptor has anti-microbial pads and adjustable Visor for securing your head from more pressure. It has Locking Buckle and Sliders along with BOA closure system for safe retention and secured fit. Additionally, this helmet has 24 vents for proper ventilation and safety and the Accessory Mounting System adds to the convenience and comfort.
Nano Fusion Technology
Nano Fusion is an advanced material and in-molding process that makes a thinner and lighter helmet. It consists of in-molded multi-density EPS with carbon nanotube infused acrylic self-healing foam. This makes a smaller and lighter helmet that can manage a wider range of impacts. This technology makes the Interceptor safe for use.
Low Density Layer Padding System
Designed using the softest EPS foam possible, this helmet is too hard and does nothing to address rotational impact forces. The Low Density Layer (LDL) padding system addresses both low-g and rotational impact forces by placing soft gel pads throughout the interior of the helmet. These specially designed viscoelastic gel pads are softer than EPS and can compress and shear in all directions. As a result, they reduce rotational impact forces by 25% and low-g linear impact forces by 30%.
Composite Fusion Technology
This helmet features the proprietary Composite Fusion in-molding technology that merges the shell and EPS foam liner together. The fused shell and liner are stronger and work together to absorb g-forces more efficiently. It is the innovative helmet safety technology that makes this helmet better impact energy management and increased dynamic range.
Crumple Zones
By incorporating multi-density EPS foam with geometric cone shapes into the liner, crumple zones are created. This multi-density construction allows to fine tune the EPS foam, putting the harder foam on the outside to quickly dissipate high-g force impacts, while putting softer foam next to your head to cushion any blow. In an impact, the cones compress redirecting the energy laterally away from your head, reducing the chance of injury.
