Innovations on this Kuat bike rack like the front tire cradle system and co-molded tire strap hold and protect your bikes on drives over even the bumpiest terrain while the fully integrated cable locks keep bike thieves at bay. The foot operated pivot system gives your arms a rest when raising or lowering the stand for unrivaled convenience. For performing repairs in remote locations, the Trail-Doc adapter is included to enable you to turn the Kuat NV 2.0 into a work stand that lets you access all parts of your bike with ease. This Kuat NV 2.0 hitch mounted platform rack fits with 1.25" hitch receivers and comes in sleek metallic black with gray anodize so your car will still look sporty with the rack attached.
Unrivaled Bike Security
No road is too rough to dislodge your bike from the secure fasteners of the Kuat NV 2.0. An adjustable front tire cradle system and intuitive front tire ratchet work together to firmly hold bikes in place without straining or damaging any parts. The tire cradle can hold tire diameters between 20 and 29 inches and the front ratchet tightens and loosens its grip according to the bumps and curves of the road so it is always applying the correct amount of pressure. A co-molded tire strap adds an extra level of security. You can even park your car and leave your bike in the rack without worrying that it will be stolen. The included hitch lock and fully integrated cable locks will make sure that your bike stays right where you left it.
Practical Design Features
If you need to prop your bike up to change a tire or fix a chain when you reach your destination, the Trail Doc adapter, included with this Kuat platform bike rack, allows you to turn the NV 2.0 into a holding stand for repairs. This stand will elevate your bike so you can reach the parts that need repair work. When your hands are full, you can raise, lower and adjust the NV 2.0 bike rack using the foot pedal on the redesigned pivot with foot assist. The pedal can be placed inside your car so it is accessible immediately after you park.
