Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Hitch Mounted 2-Bike Rack (1.25") (Pearl Metallic)
The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Hitch Mounted 2-Bike Rack attaches easily to the trailer hitch on your car, truck, or SUV so you can bring your bikes to the mountain wilderness or to the next town. The foot activated pivot lever lets you open or close the Sherpa rack with minimal effort, and folding tire cradles streamline the rack closer to the sides of your vehicle. The Sherpa 2.0 is redesigned for a smoother more stylish look so you can be confident that not only will this Kuat platform rack transport your bikes safely, but it will look good while doing it. This rack is a 1.25" hitch size and has a pearl metallic premium gloss overcoat with silver anodize to blend classily with the paint job on your car.
Streamlined Profile
The sturdy tire cradles on this platform bike rack fold up so you can park in narrow spaces and drive on winding trials without scratching your car or the bike rack. The Sherpa also sports an arched design that gives it a low profile for a sleek look when attached to your vehicle.
Holds Bikes Securely
You'll never again have to glance anxiously in your rearview mirror when you drive over a bump or pothole with your bikes attached to your car hitch mount. Semi-integrated cable locks are strong and keep a firm grip on your bikes, and a co-molded rear tire strap restrains your bikes even on bumpy terrain. The intuitive front tire ratchet releases and tightens as needed to maintain a firm, snug hold on your bike.
Hands-Free Convenience
The redesigned pivot with foot assist allows you to fold, extend, or pivot the entire Sherpa rack using only the foot pedal. Even when your hands are full, your bikes will remain secure.
