Smith Optics Squad Snow Goggles (Black, Sun Platinum Mirror)
Keep your eyes open wide as you hit the slopes. The distinctive Smith Optics Squad Snow Goggles offer unobstructed view thanks to its minimal semi-rimless frame design, while its Fog-X technology and TLT Optics ensure clear vision. Adjustable straps and Responsive Fit frame features provide comfort and the tough cylindrical lens offers reliable durability. Fun on the hill with your friends is amplified when you don’t have to worry about whether or not your gear is dialed!
ChromaPop Technology
The ChromaPop polarized lens technology helps you see detail and color beyond normal capabilities. ChromaPop filters two specific wavelengths of light that cause color confusion. By doing this the lens delivers greater definition, more natural color, and unmatched clarity to allow you to see more detail. Additionally, the lenses are optically tuned to give you visual comfort and impact protection – while also offering antireflective, water and oil resistant coatings and 100 percent UV protection.
ChromaPop Everyday Green Mirror Lens
Suited for a range of conditions, enhances every undulation of snow so you get more out of every moment. Offering 23 percent VLT (Visible Light Transmission).
Cylindrical Lens
Premium materials and clean lines provide a unique style within the Smith collection. Built around a cylindrical carbonic-x lens with TLT optics and proven integration, the performance is unmatched within the category. Each goggle is packaged with a bonus replacement lens for unparalleled value, fit and finish.
Carbonic-X
Smith’s carbonic-x outer lens material is individually molded to offer optimum scratch and impact resistance, increased visual acuity and enhanced contrast sensitivity. The carbonic-x material meets Class 1 optical standards. There is simply no better lens.
Fog-X
Smith Optics' Fog-X lens treatment employs a hydrophilic, micro-etched surface to absorb moisture and disperse it over a wide surface area to prevent fogging. Since its physically carved into the lens, it can't be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings.
TLT (Tapered Lens Technology)
When light passes through a medium it refracts, i.e. changes course. If left uncorrected, this refraction can cause visual distortion and eye fatigue. Smith’s Tapered Lens Technology straightens out the incoming light rays by progressively tapering the lens from the optical center toward the peripheral view.
What this means for you is that you see with 100 percent accuracy and maximum comfort.
