Perfect accessory for your bike, this exclusive bundle from Lifestyle by Focus includes the Brooks England Flyer Men's Bike Saddle (Black/Black Steel) along with a 25g proofide bike leather saddle dressing.
Brooks England Flyer Men's Bike Saddle (Honey / Black Steel)
The Brooks England Flyer Men's Bike Saddle is a classically sprung saddle for long distance trekking and touring. It is directly descending from the B66 Champion, first featured in the 1927 catalog. Sharing the same leather tops of the B17 models, the seat combines comfort with the extra suspension granted by two rear springs. Handmade in England.
Care Information
A new saddle should be treated with Brooks Proofide Leather Dressing to help assist the "breaking-in" process. Proofide also helps to keep the leather supple as it is carefully formulated from special ingredients to condition, preserve and shower proof your saddle. Brooks Proofide is the only substance that should be used to take care of your saddle.
Brooks Proofide Bike Leather Saddle Dressing (25g)
A new saddle should be treated with Brooks Proofide Bike Leather Saddle Dressing to help assist the breaking-in process. Proofide keeps the leather supple as it is specially formulated from natural ingredients to condition, preserve and shower proof your saddle. Proofide is the only substance that should be used to care for your Brooks Leather Saddle.
Use
Apply a little Proofide to the finished side of the leather. Allow the Proofide to permeate until dry and then polish off. Proofide should be used several times during the ‘breaking-in’ period and every 3-6 months thereafter. On bicycles not fitted with mudguards, an initial application to the underside of the saddle will be beneficial, this needs not to be polished off. The leather gets its color during the tanning process and it is possible, therefore, that some color residues will remain. It is recommended to polish the saddle with a soft cloth before first use.
