Cold Steel Oyabun 3.5-Inch 4034 SS Tanto Blade 4 3/4-Inch GRN Handle with TPR Inlay Folding Knife
The Cold Steel Oyabun is a folding knife that closely emulates the famous Tanto. Andrew Demko and Lynn Thompson incorporated a reinforced blade point, a high satin polish, and expert heat treatment (Rc57 and sub-zero quenched) to make the Oyabun. It features a 3.5-inch blade with a 4-3/4-inch long GRN handle featuring a TPR inlay.
Locking Mechanism
The Oyabun knife is equipped with an integral flipper for effortless opening, and a patent-pending leaf spring lock and safety. The lock and safety on the Oyabun were first utilized in the Cold Steel Crawford 1 folder and have proved to be quite tough and reliable.
Blade and Handle
The 4034 stainless steel blade is housed in a strong, economical handle that's reinforced with stainless steel liners. The handle is injection molded with a Griv-Ex foundation and then over-molded with soft, checkered Kray-Ex fastened to the frame with two robust bolts.
