The Zilla Medium Replacement Filter Cartridge is designed for Zilla Deluxe Aquatic Turtle Kits. This cartridge is suitable for use with basking platform filters and aquatic reptile internal filters. This 4-pack contains 3-filters in each.
Design
The replacement filter cartridge is designed to be a perfect match for both Zilla Deluxe and Premium Aquatic Turtle Kits, including the Basking Platform Filter 20G and Aqueon 10 filter systems. These cartridges are equipped with a combination of activated carbon and dense floss, which effectively captures and retains fine debris.
Performance
For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every month, when they become clogged, or if water starts to bypass the filter. To replace them simply remove the used cartridge from the bio-holster, rinse the new cartridge, and insert it with the front facing forward.
Note
When replacing the filter cartridge, the bio-holster should not be cleaned, as it contains living beneficial bacteria that contribute to a healthy aquatic environment.
