Designed for outdoor users, Aegis AT Tanto is an assisted opening knife that features SOG’s innovative ambidextrous AT-XR Lock with an ergonomic handle and grip pattern for comfortable use. Aegis AT is a pocket knife that is easy to carry, with a highly functional 3.1-inch cryogenically heat-treated D2 steel blade. Its powerful XR locking mechanism also features a solid built-in blade locking safety and spine-mounted safety system.
Cryo D2 Steel Blade
The 3.13-inch blade is made from cryogenically heat-treated D2 tool steel. This process enhances edge retention and durability, making it a strong choice for repeated cutting tasks in outdoor settings.
AT-XR Locking Mechanism
Equipped with SOG’s patented AT-XR Lock, this knife ensures a secure lock-up when the blade is open. It holds strong under pressure and provides a controlled, one-handed opening mechanism, even when wearing gloves.
Ambidextrous Spine-Mounted Safety
The spine-mounted safety switch is easy to reach and use, regardless of hand orientation. It’s intuitive and keeps the blade securely closed when not in use, reducing the risk of accidental deployment.
