SOG SEAL XR TI Ambidextrous Folding Knife MagnaCut Steel with Titanium Liners

A hard-use folding knife made entirely in the USA. Designed and optimized in consultation with professional users, the SEAL XR provides the feel and functionality of a SEAL knife in the form of a large format pocket knife. This is SOG's first knife featuring a MagnaCut steel blade, regarded as a top performer in all established standards including edge retention, corrosion resistance, durability, and ease of sharpening. Titanium liners replace the standard steel liners used in the original SEAL XR to trim 20 percent of the weight from this beast of a knife while adding additional corrosion resistance and durability to this already hardy knife. Black, olive drab and FDE GRN handle scales are included for the user to decide the look of the knife. This new SEAL knife retains the fully ambidextrous design and XR lock from the original.

The SEAL XR Ti takes the original version of our industry-standard warfighter knife up a couple of notches by using MagnaCut steel for the blade and replacing the original's steel liners with titanium to save weight and improve the durability of a knife designed to be used in rugged conditions.

The new SEAL XR Ti is delivered with black, olive drab, and flat dark earth handle scales to appeal to every warrior's vanity. And don't worry, we used rugged and textured glass-reinforced nylon material for the scales to offer a dependable grip in all conditions, with or without gloves.

Most knife steels settle for tradeoffs but MagnaCut was developed specifically for high marks in all categories important to knife users.

Titanium Liners

We replaced the standard steel liners with titanium to make an extremely high-performance knife even more legendary. These new scales shave 20 percent from the weight of the original knife to make it more nimble and easy to pack while also adding extra corrosion resistance to a knife destined for hard use.
