Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight Pocket Knife with 8Cr13MoV Steel Blade and FRN Handle (Black)
Following in the footsteps of its bigger brothers in the Spyderco Value Folder series, the Spyderco Ambitious Lightweight Pocket Knife in Black is an ultra-compact cutting tool that cuts with big-knife authority. It trades the original G-10 scales for injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), trimming its weight by almost seven percent and offering the added grip security of the signature bi-directional texturing pattern. Taking that evolution one step further, the Ambitious Lightweight Black Blade cloaks the full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel blade in a non-reflective black oxide coating. All other features are consistent with the established version of this model, including skeletonized Stainless Steel liners, a four-position pocket clip, and other hardware that also sports stealthy black coatings. The Ambitious Lightweight is also perfectly suited for everyday pocket knife utility use. It can be used for hiking, hunting, camping, or everyday carry.
