The Adaptive Cutting System Saw and Guide Track Kit by Kreg provides guided cutting for always straight and smooth cuts. An excellent tool combination for cutting solid wood and sheet goods, it provides unparalleled control with a cutting capacity up to 50". Conveniently, the 62" Guide Track stays in place without clams, while the Plunge saw cuts up to 2 1/8" deep at 90 degree and 1 1/2" at 45 degree. Safety is ensured with built-in features that protect against binding and kickback, so you can cut with confidence.
Plunge Saw
Powerful and Versatile
The Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw offers powerful cutting performance with a variable-speed motor with an electronic blade brake. It provides safe cutting with plunge-cutting action, a fully shrouded blade, a retractable riving knife, and integrated anti-kickback features. Additionally, the Plunge Saw offers bevel cutting capability from -1 degree to 47 degree, and 2 1/8" maximum cutting-depth from the included 48-tooth, carbide-tipped blade. With a 12-amp motor the Plunge Saw delivers cutting power, plus control from variable-speed and an electronic blade brake. An included dust port and bag collect chips to minimize cutting mess and provides the ability to connect to a vacuum hose.

The Plunge Saw is designed to work with the Adaptive Cutting System 62" Guide Track to deliver straight, smooth, splinter-free cuts in solid wood, plywood, and other sheet goods. Plus, the saw offers integrated safety and ergonomic features that make it easy and safe to use. The saw’s blade-left design is optimized for right-handed users, and provides superior cutting visibility and control.

Design and Use
The Guide Track features a zero-offset design that aligns the edge of the track exactly with the cutline to ensure accurate positioning. A cord manager helps guide the saw cord while cutting, as well as a dust-collection hose if the saw is connected to a shop vacuum. While the track is usable alone or mounted on the project table, it is a great tool to use with your Kreg Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw. For off-table cutting, two tracks can be combined together for 124" of total length that provides 112" of off-table cutting capacity.
