Vortex 8x42 Razor UHD Binoculars
The Vortex 8x42 Razor UHD Binoculars utilizes an Ultra High Definition optical design along with an Abbe Koenig prism system providing exceptional optical quality with color fidelity and reduced chromatic aberration. The optical surfaces are fully multi-coated to provide maximum light transmission, even in low-light environments. Additionally, the lenses are surface coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant coating that resists scratches, oil, and dirt. Featuring a rugged magnesium chassis with waterproof and fogproof construction, the Razor UHD is waterproof and fogproof is built to sustain harsh environmental conditions.
High-Performance Optics
Suitable for mid-range areas, the Vortex Razor UHD Binoculars offer magnifications up to 8x with a 42mm objective lens. Its optical design features Ultra High Definition elements that reduce chromatic aberrations to provide edge-to-edge sharpness, and light transmission. Phase-corrected Abbe Koenig roof prisms contribute to the Razor UHD’s compact size, while providing high-contrast, color-toned imagery.
Anti-Reflective Coatings
The optics (air-to-glass surfaces) are fully multi-coated with XR Plus anti-reflective coatings provide maximum light transmission for ultimate clarity along with low-light performance. The outer surface of the lenses comes with an ArmorTek ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating that provides protection against scratches, oil, and dirt.
Durable Construction
The Vortex Razor UHD comes with a durable magnesium chassis. It is Argon-purged and O-ring sealed for complete waterproof and fogproof performance – making Razor UHD suitable for harsh weather conditions.
